Eugene to Host Oregon Safe Routes to School Conference

The Oregon Safe Routes to School Network has announced Eugene as their selection to host the 2016 Oregon SRTS Conference and Training! The conference will be held on June 20-21 and will include speakers and sessions for new and veteran SRTS practitioners, staff, volunteers, and partners. A training will be held on June 22-23 and will include sessions on the Oregon Bicycle Safety Education and Pedestrian Safety Education curriculum as well as a “Traffic Skills 101” class. Along with speakers, presentations and classes there will be networking, social time, and special tours centered around getting more kids healthy and active through active transportation. The event will be a great time to learn more and share your knowledge about Safe Routes to School while also showing off what makes Eugene a great place to bike, walk, and roll!  We’re excited to host and we hope you can join us.
