Want to encourage your students to walk or bike to school?  The International Walk and Bike To School Day is set for Wednesday, October 7, and the local Safe Routes to School Committee can help your school plan a promotional event!

Walk + Bike Day Planning & Brainstorming Meeting
Wednesday, Sept. 16
5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
The Atrium Building, Saul Room (10th & Olive, across from the Eugene Library)

At the meeting we’ll discuss:

-Planning your event
-Incentive awards for students and volunteers
-Available funding
-Resource materials
-Media outreach
-General brainstorming

Register at http://walknbike.org/ and your school can get a free Nutcase multi-sport helmet and other incentive prizes for students to win. Can’t attend the meeting on Wednesday?
