Volunteers Needed for BikeEd at Two 4J Schools

It’s fall bike education time for our local middle schoolers.

As we continue to grow our BikeEducation program and reach more schools the need for volunteers continues to grow.
This year we’re excited to have TWO BikeEd instructors going (Clare with the BTA and Colette with the City of Eugene, in partnership with 4J) as well as some classes in Bethel.
They all need volunteers– here’s the information from Clare and Colette. Clare needs some volunteers in Hamlin very soon!
Drop them an email and volunteer, you’ll be glad you did (it’s really fun)!
Volunteers Needed for Middle School Bicycle Safety Education Programs

On the last day of the Bicycle Safety Education course our middle school students will go on a community ride around their neighborhood streets.  This is wonderful opportunity for the students to put into practice the skills they work on throughout the course.  We take anywhere from 30-40 students out on the road.  It is very important to us that we provide a safe and fun ride.  The more volunteers we have joining the more smoothly the rides go.  If you see a date and time you’d like to join please contact the instructor directly to receive further details.  We would really appreciate your support!
