Volunteers Needed: Hamlin Middle School BikeEd

tags:

Hey Folks,

I am still looking for a few more volunteers to help out with a community bike ride for the bike safety classes at Hamlin Middle School on November 2nd. As a volunteer you can do anything from ride along with the class, acting as an extra set of eyes, to helping to make sure students stop all the way at stop signs and/or stop lights. Having volunteers makes these rides run more smoothly and safely. And it gives the students a nice chance to see how cool bike people are! If you have never gotten a chance to come out to a bike safety class, you should join us!

Here is the info:

When: November 2nd
Where: Hamlin Middle School, Springfield
Class Times:
1st period: 8:20-9:09
2nd period: 9:10-10:03
3rd period:10:00-10:57

If you are interested in joining us, send me an email with the class times you are available for and plan on showing up to the school 15 minutes before class for check in and get some info about the ride. Come for just one or all three!

Thanks! I hope to see you all soon!

These rides are really fun and an integral part of the bike education program. Volunteers are always appreciated!
