Weekend Fun!

This Saturday join the largest global family bike ride ever….Kidical Massive!! It all started here… now there are dozens of rides happening around the country and it’s time to all hold one giant ride together! There are over 50 rides around the world scheduled for this weekend.  Let’s make the Eugene ride the biggest family bike ride ever and show our city, our state, and the country that Eugene families love biking in our town!! Come celebrate family biking, cargo bikes, trailers, little ones biking, and a world changed by more kids biking more often! Meet at Monroe Park on Sept. 19th at 10am and we’ll ride over to the campus area for treats! See the Facebook Event and spread the word.

The final Sunday Streets  of the season is this Sunday (September 20th) and it looks like one of the best yet! It will be held in the Friendly Neighborhood from Noon-4pm. You can download a schedule and flyer here.

Eugene-Springfield SRTS will have a traffic garden course set-up at Adams Elementary and there are some other really fun activities planned around the neighborhood as well: Alaffia Bike Drive at Friendly Street MarketGEARsBike FridayArriving By Bike™ and Eugene Electric Bicycles, LLC at the Friendly Park Bike Expo.
Free Seeds and garden tours at Common Ground Garden and Smarttrips: EugeneCentro Latino AmericanoToolBox ProjectEugene Timbers Fútbol Club,Dave Nourie BMX Freestyle show and more at Adams Elementary School.
