The Eugene-Springfield Safe Routes to School program has rapidly grown since it was founded in 2007 beginning in the Eugene 4J School District.
Since 2007 the program has expanded to include three of the regions school districts; Springfield, Bethel, and 4J. Partnering with local businesses, receiving support from local, regional, county and state government has made walking and biking to school more safe and accessible for thousands of kids.
Join us in celebrating the accomplishments made possible by all of our partners.
Together we use an equity based approach to direct our resources to those who are in the greatest need. With improvements to safety and education we promote active and healthy student lives moving to and from school.
